My Introduction

Hello Friends,

I am an Indian women leaving in Canada since last 6 months. Before coming to Canada I lived in USA for 4.5 years. I was also there in UK for a short term stay. I have a happy family, which includes my husband and my adorable 5 year old son. My parents and in-laws stays in India.

For quite a long time, I was thinking to write and publish a blog in which I can share my experiences in countries outside India. Which mainly revolves around the cultural differences, Food, travel, fashion and lifestyle.

So briefly you can catch glimpse of the following things in my blog –>

  • Cultural Differences- As we know, There are lot of cultural differences when we come out of our comfort zone i.e. India. Off course there is an initial struggle while adopting to the weather, people, gelling up with the culture and setting up the home, But trust me- It will help you to learn a lot and make you more strong after few days.
  • Food- Food is the medium which connects people and wins heart. And when it comes to Indian cuisine, its the part and parcel of our life. These days Indian grocery stores and Indian restaurants are readily available across many parts of the globe. In India you get most of the things handy and readily outsourced. But when you are abroad you are keen on learning various things which you did not learn back home such as baking, making few things like curd, paneer or even panipuri at home.
  • Travel- When you are abroad travel becomes a compulsory part of your life because you dont have much social life like in India. Trips and outings with friends and family are the best solution to keep you active and refreshed throughout various seasons. And there is much more to explore!!!
  • Fashion- Fashion is that one thing which changes according to the country and people and climate too. So need to focus on being affordable stylist and fashionable while being in the other country.
  • Lifestyle- Being said that its better if you gel up in the lifestyle of the other country without loosing your own identity. Without forgetting where you came from. Respect other’s lifestyle and adopt just what you like and is comfortable for you.
